Dictation fills in your sleep diary

Say how the night went, and AumniVIDA turns it into a sleep entry you review before saving.

Sleep matters to the record whether or not a ring is on your finger, so the app now takes a sleep entry the way you would tell a friend about it.

How it works

  1. Open the sleep editor and speak or type: "in bed at eleven, took a while to fall asleep, awake twice, up at six thirty, felt okay".
  2. The app turns that into the fields a sleep diary uses: bedtime, time to fall asleep, awakenings, final wake, and a quality rating.
  3. You see the draft, correct anything, and save. The entry is written when you save.

How it fits with wearables

On nights with ring data, the ring's numbers are used. On nights without, the manual entry stands in, so sleep trends stay continuous through a night the ring spent on the charger.
